December

This is December according to my phone....

St. Nick came to visit

Santa Claus came down our street on a fire truck

We went to taco bell more than once...and this is just funny.

We went to see a live Nativity. It was beautiful!

We made our traditional tamales with some of our favorite people.

My Dad was going through some old pictures and sent this one to me. This pic holds lots of memories for me. :)

We went to Missouri for Christmas. The Grand kids decorated Sugar cookies.

Braeden in deep thought reading his Spanish Verbs book...that he asked for and got for Christmas.

I was so sad that I forgot my good camera when we went to Missouri so my Christmas pictures stink. Ugh. We also celebrated Joshua's 14th birthday this month but I totally failed as a mom and didn't get any pictures. He doesn't care.....I totally do.

MO/OKC trip July 2014

We took a very quick trip to MO back in July. The kids had a fun time hanging out with cousins and being spoiled by Grandma. Believe it or not Joplin has a super nice community pool. It's actually more of a water park. The kids loved it and I think Little Elm needs to build one now.

We went to church with Grandma

Apples to Apples with the cousins

We always do smores when we go to Grandma's..it's a tradition

We went to dinner one night and I ordered a burger that a had a huge hunk of fried cheese. It was soooo good!

We took a detour on our way home through OKC. We stayed with my BFF, Tori and her family. We met up with some elementary school friends for dinner. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years.

My BFF since 5th grade. Love her!

Christmas Morning 2012

We usually have some kind of booby-trap or something for the kids every year but this year Santa took a break or maybe it was because the kids forgot to leave out some cookies.

Christmas Eve 2012

I love going home to my Mom and Dad's house at Christmas time. It is full of the sights and sounds that come with this holiday season.

This is one of the things I look forward to the most that my Mom puts together every year...our storybook baskets.

The traditional reading of the book that Grandma picked for our baskets.

Grandma got to emotional so Braeden had to finish reading..
