Future Vegetarian

This is a typical meal for Kaitlyn. She loves fruits and vegetables of all kinds. Her favorites consist of tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, strawberries, and purple grapes. Is this normal? Braeden and Josh gag at the thought of having to eat something healthy. I can barely even get them to eat potatoes.

Crazy for Webkinz!!

Have you guys heard of these things? Kate got one for her birthday and my children have fallen in love. Kate has acquired two more and now my boy want one. They are actually pretty neat. They are just stuffed animals but you register them online and adopt them. Then you give them a name, feed them, play with them, and build rooms for them. My kids love it. They play games to earn kinz cash and this is how they take care of them. I have only found them at Hallmark and every time I go, there are groups of kids surrounding these things. Apparently they have been around for a while, but I just recently heard of them. I even enjoy getting online with Kate and helping her with her webkinz. It's kind of fun.

Ode to Grandpa Martin

We want to send a wish today
To you our Grandpa, who's faraway.
We wish we could be there to celebrate
on your birthday because your so great.
We love you so much.......your really neat.
You once were a really great athlete.
We wrote this poem just for you,
we hope you don't think it's a bunch of hullabaloo.
Because....... we just wanted to say,
Happy Birthday to You!!

Fall Soccer

Soccer Season has started yet again, and the first game was a disaster. The whole start of the season has been some what unorganized. Braeden's team has only had one practice and not all the kids were even there. They are usually a really good team either going undefeated or only one loss each season. This season I think they have there work cut out for them. They lost there first game 13 to 1. They got creamed. They say losing is character building.....right? I told Braeden he needed to play with his head held high and never quit until it's over. He really just loves the game and wasn't to devastated by the loss. I think his coaches took it harder then he did.

Lobo Football

We went to our first High School football game last night. We went because Braeden was competing in a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition. (post coming about that later) We had lots of fun. The stadium is massive. It's kind of ridiculous, but it made for a nice football experience. We stayed just into the 3rd quarter and then left. At that point the Lobos were winning 35 to Guyer's 6. It was a fun, nice evening out with the family...... Side Note: After looking at these pictures and being frustrated with taking these pictures I have decided I really need a new camera. Sorry the pictures aren't that great, but hopefully you get the idea.
