We went to several Cross Country meets. The season is now over.

The FC Dallas soccer team was on our flight home from Colorado

Braeden was thrilled but would not talk to any of them until we were getting off the plane...I was trying to get him to get a picture with any of them. He was so embarrassed.

Play-off game #1

Lobos won their first play-off game defeating North Lamar 9-1. Next game Friday night. So Proud! Go Lobos!!

District Champs

Braeden's soccer team won district this past weekend. We are LOBO PROUD!! First playoff game is tonight in Princeton against North Lamar. Go Lobos!!

he almost cried

Seriously, Braeden almost cried when he found these soccer cleats at Dick's today. He's been dreaming about owning them forever.  They normally cost around 200 hundred dollars.  They were marked down to $99 with an additional 50% off. So, he got them for 50 bucks. I would have to say he scored. :)

I have obviously neglected my blog lately. This is some of what has happened in the Jones house over the last few months...in no particular order..

Kate started volleyball. Two games under her belt so far and both were wins. :)

Braeden's soccer team finished with a winning season. They won 14 games, lost 4, and tied 2.

drive-in movie?

Braeden had a soccer game on Tuesday night and it was pouring down rain. I thought the game would be canceled. But no lightening or thunder equals play the game. I opted to stay dry and watch the game from the car. Kate and Josh decided to turn the car in to a drive-in movie theater. They had their snacks, headphones, comfy leather seats, and Night at the Museum. They were set for the next hour and a half.

This is the field that Braeden played on. Just a little bit dangerous being right next to the tollway during rush hour. During the game one of the soccer players even kicked a ball up over the fence in to the on coming traffic. If you ask me I think it's an accident waiting to happen....

In other news, Kate got a 100 on her fractions math test this week. I am so proud of her!

And my birthday is in 4 days....still hoping for a new camera. :)
