Braeden found this guy in our back yard. Kate wanted to keep him, but I decided that wouldn't be such a good idea. We probably would have just killed him....or Sammy would have. So, we put him in a box and took him up to our neighborhood pond. Now he is free to live his turtle life with all his turtle friends.

4th grade field trip

Fizz Ball

This is how you play fizz ball. You need a ton of soda..

Someone then pitches a can of soda..

You then try to attempt to swing and hit the can of soda. It may or may not explode.

I had to get in on the action. I was not very successful..

Then if you can't seem to hit the can of soda you revert to beating it...

Then of course, pouring it on each other...

Fizz ball is basically pointless but it is so much fun to watch and I would totally try to play it again...:)

i am bragging

This morning I left for a field trip with Kate. Before I left I gave Braeden some rules as usual and then I teasingly said to him, "if you want to clean the house feel free".  I just got home and I. AM. SHOCKED.  I walked in to the house and it smelled of bleach.  Braeden had cleaned the kitchen including bleaching all the counter tops because he knows I love the smell of bleach (weird, I know).  He had also washed ALL the sheets in the house and was making beds when I found him.  On top of those things he had cleaned Joshua's room (which is a nightmare most of the time) and had vacuumed the whole entire downstairs including my closet.  This has NEVER happened before. Man, I LOVE that kid!

You know that game "would you rather"...well, we weren't playing that when Kate randomly asked,

"Would you rather kiss someone with stinky breath or jacked up teeth?"

Hmmm...what is this girl already thinking about at the age of 9. I'm scared.
