the beach part 2

Have I mentioned I want to move to Florida and live by the beach? The water was so beautifully clear blue and the sand was so fine like sugar. So beautiful!

he almost cried

Seriously, Braeden almost cried when he found these soccer cleats at Dick's today. He's been dreaming about owning them forever.  They normally cost around 200 hundred dollars.  They were marked down to $99 with an additional 50% off. So, he got them for 50 bucks. I would have to say he scored. :)

the sand dunes

We thought we would take the kids to some sand dunes while we were in Florida and let them slide down them. The only problem is they are protected. There were signs everywhere that read, "Keep off the sand dunes'. Apparently they help during hurricane season or something like that.

These are the kids "I am so hot and just want to go swimming in the ocean" faces.

It really was beautiful.  The state park we went to would go from sand dunes to a forest of pine trees and then back.

The kids are always on the look out for little critters. These tiny frogs were all over the place.

the town

I've decided I want to move to Seaside, Florida. It is such a cute, little, quaint town. The people are super friendly and there are lots of yummy places to eat.

The town is very bicycle friendly. We rented bikes for the week. I really wanted to keep my yellow bike. So cute!

Cary and I went on a breakfast date one morning while the kids slept in.  We rode our bikes down to a cute little restaurant called Great Southern. So GOOD!  We sat on the patio and people watched while we ate. I ordered the Grits a Ya Ya and have been craving it ever since.

We also stopped at this little taco bar for a quick snack.  So many tacos to choose from. Cary got the fish taco and it was the best fish taco I have ever had. Very fresh. I wanted to go back and have some more yummy tacos but we ran out of time.  Next time though....:)

We loved the little condo we stayed in while in Seaside, Florida. It was close to the beach and the town..but most importantly it was super clean. :)

We made a pit stop on the way to and from our destination vacation in Seaside, Florida. Duck Dynasty is one of our families favorite shows. We love the Duck Commander crew.
