Joshua's Bird
Across the street from our house are some vacant lots. Joshua and Braeden love to go explore in these lots. A few days ago Joshua came home and dragged me out there to show me something that was "so cool". He was exploring for crystals as usual, when he came across a bird. I didn't understand why this was so cool, until the bird moved. It has made a nest in a patch of clovers. It was sitting on four speckled eggs. We are anxiuolsy awaiting the baby birds. Hopefully they hatch before some other little creature finds them. We will keep you all posted...

Awwww, how sweet. Poor bird, doesn't she know a nest of clover isn't very safe? What a great discovery for 2 little boys though!
No way! Must be something about spring time...my in-law's have a duck who made her nest between the bushes in their backyard by the pool. She's such a good mama duck and sits on those eggs ALL day long...until she needs a break and then takes a quick dip in the pool! We can't wait to see the baby ducks! Hopefully Joshua's baby birds make it too!
